Robert Schimanski, age 67; Loving son of the late Ralph Schimanski and the late Margaret (nee Albertusiak); Dear brother of Susan (Tom) Sommerfield; Fond uncle of Kate (Brad) Hare and Megan (Josh) Brown; Cherished great-uncle of Adelaide, Jackson, Lakelyn, Beau, Georgia, Millie and Oakley; Kind cousin and friend to all who knew him; Bob was an avid golfer, having been granted the Evans Scholarship award to the University of Illinois from which he graduated. Bob spent the majority of his career in the banking business where most recently he worked at Wintrust Financial. He will be missed. Memorial Visitation Friday, October 28, 2022, 10:00 a.m. at St. Damian Church, 5250 W. 155th St., Oak Forest, IL followed by 10:30 a.m. Mass. Interment private.
